Why Speech and Language Therapy
-
Why Communicate?
If you think about your day, how would it go if you were unable to communicate your wants, needs. feelings or ideas? Communication is both verbal and non-verbal, but most importantly, it is social. It is our way of connecting with family, friends, as well as new people we encounter.

How do I know if my child might need therapy?
Your child may speak less than others his age or your child may be very difficult to understand despite having much to say.
A speech-language evaluation will assess what your child is able and unable to do, compared to normed samples of children the same age, determining whether treatment is warranted.
